The General Secretary of AKEL in Greece to speak at an International Conference on Peace and Sustainable Development

The General Secretary of the Central Committee of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, has been in Athens since yesterday to participate as a guest speaker in the proceedings of the International Conference on Peace and Sustainable Development organised by the Alexis Tsipras Institute. St. Stefanou will be a speaker at Tuesday’s session on the rise of the far right and policies to counter it.
Numerous former and current leaders and officials of states, international and European organizations, as well as renowned analysts and academics will participate in the conference.
St. Stefanou will return to Cyprus on Wednesday.
