AKEL Tsielepis: The Presidential Palace won’t like at all the minutes of the talks we have

AKEL can reveal the minutes of the talks at Crans Montana that the Presidential Palace won’t like at all, but it won’t to do so, as this would cause damage, commented Toumazos Tsielepis Head of the Cyprus problem Bureau of AKEL and AKEL Political Bureau member.

T.Tsielepis stressed that the government’s action to leak documents from the talks are damaging the cause of the Cyprus problem and the Greek Cypriot side remains exposed.

1. Tsielepis reiterated that what matters is that we got to the point of the issue of guarantees being discussed at the Crans Montana conference.

Furthermore, he stressed that from the very first day of the Crans Montana conference, the Turkish Foreign Ministry M. Cavusoglοu said that Turkey’s initial position was in favour of maintaining the system of guarantees, but was prepared to proceed further and waited to see a gesture on the part of President Anastasiades on the four issues of internal governance.
