DISY’s turns to its favorite and established way of shifting responsibilities elsewhere

Today the governing DISY party without any reason whatsoever, through statements made by DISY Press Spokesperson and MP Prodromos Prodromou, is attacking AKEL. This is DISY’s favorite and established customary way of shifting responsibilities elsewhere. We understand the difficulty they have to explain why DISY abstained in the vote on an issue they themselves say was a mistake and which because of their stand they became a tail of ELAM.
This time DISY is accusing AKEL that it “pretends that it doesn’t know that the President and the Greek Cypriot side does not accept a “rotating presidency”.
AKEL does not pretend anything. AKEL listens and judges. We call on DISY to address the Presidential Palace and come to an understanding with the President on the Christofias – Talat convergences.
We have one thing to say to them. Don’t provoke! Few words suffice for he who understands!
