On the presence of Turkish Cypriots at the match the Cyprus national football team

We welcome the presence of Turkish Cypriots at last night’s match of the Cyprus National football team in Nicosia. At the same time, however, we consider as unfortunate the decision to place the Turkish Cypriots in a separate section in the stands, which sends out a negative message.
We take the view that different arrangements should have been made so that Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots could have watched the match together.
