Nikos Savva Kettiros was born in 1974 in Larnaca, where he lives. He originates from the occupied village of Lysi. He is married to Dimitra Nikoletti Kettirou and they have two children.

He studied Journalism in Cyprus and then at the Greek Open University, studying Greek Culture.

Since 2016 he has been a Member of Parliament for AKEL Left New Forces, while in the past he worked as a journalist for the television stations Logos, Mega, Antenna, Plus TV and RIK.

As a journalist, he served as an investigative reporter and then as a political reporter. He participated in missions of important events abroad and also covered many, very important current events live.

He has been a member of the AKEL Famagusta District Committee since 2012 and since 2015 is a member of the C.C. of AKEL. He is a member of the Parliamentary Committees on Refugees, Education, Health and the Environment. He was a member of the Agriculture and Legal Affairs Committees and participated in European Parliament missions as a member of the Europol Interparliamentary Audit Committee.
