The General Secretary of AKEL Stefanos Stefanou held a meeting today with the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy on Cyprus, María Angela Olgin, at the offices of the Central Committee of AKEL as part of her official visit to Cyprus.

Towards this end, the General Secretary of AKEL proposed the preparation of a roadmap outlining the next steps, thereby creating realistic prospects for a positive outcome.

The General Secretary of AKEL was accompanied by Stavri Kalopsidiotou, Head of the Cyprus Problem Office of the C.C. of AKEL, Toumazos Tsielepis, former member of the negotiating team, and Elias Demetriou, Head of the Rapprochement Bureau of AKEL.
