The government must take a stance on Netanyahu’s statements and demands

Israel’s demand that European countries become directly involved in the US-Israel war against Iran confirms that the Netanyahu and Trump regimes are willing to drag the entire planet into a general conflict and bloodshed in order to impose their plans for the Middle East.
The response of all governments and states in Europe and around the world should have been an absolute rejection of the Israeli claims and expressing support to the universal demand for an end to the war that was unleashed by the U.S. and Israel and a cessation of hostilities. This, indeed, is the demand of the peoples of our region, given that they are precisely the ones who will pay the price for the war—some with blood and displacement, and others with new waves of high prices/expensiveness and crises.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks regarding Cyprus clearly clash with the messages Cyprus and its government wish to convey, given the sensitive position our country finds itself in and the impact the war has on its security and economy. We call on President Christodoulides to take a stance against these statements, which are dangerous for Cyprus.
