On the occasion of AKEL’s voluntary blood donation on the occasion of World Voluntary Blood Donor Day
Today is World Volunteer Blood Donor Day. On this occasion, as part of the actions of the People’s Movement of the Left, we organised another blood donation to commemorate the day. To honour the Blood Centre for the very noteworthy work it is carrying out. To honour the thousands of volunteer blood donors in Cyprus and convey send the message that we need to continue and intensify this effort.
Voluntary blood donation is a most noble action, because with our blood we help our fellow human beings. It is for this very reason that we are organising this voluntary blood donation today. We will continue our activity, helping to raise awareness on the issue in order for the large circle of voluntary blood donors to grow further. The needs are great and to meet them we need to have continuous voluntary blood donations.
