AKEL: Solidarity with the heroic people of Palestine
AKEL Political Bureau member Neoklis Sylikiotids expressed AKEL’s unreserved solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people in the regional teleconference of the Communist and Workers’ Parties held today, November 29, which is also the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The teleconference was initiated by the KKE and was attended by, in addition to AKEL, the following parties from the countries of the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean, the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea region: Jordanian Communist Party, Tudeh Party (Iran), Communist Party of Israel, Bahrain Democratic Progressive Party, Palestinian People’s Party, Palestinian Communist Party, Sudanese Communist Party, Syrian Communist Party, United Syrian Communist Party and Communist Party of Turkey.
