Army patrols on streets an extreme and unprecedented measure

The decision by the Anastasiades-DISY government to mobilize the army, the National Guard to patrol the streets and monitor the implementation of the new decrees is an extreme and unprecedented measure.
Policing is the job of the Police. The National Guard has its own mission to fulfill.
We call on the competent Minister of Justice and Public Order to revoke this measure, which is a provocation for citizens.
