Cameron’s statements dangerous for Cyprus and our people

The ease with which the British Prime Minister generously offers Cypriot territory to become part of the theatre of military operations against the jihadists, raises questions.

The questions arise, whether this constitutes an arbitrary act in violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus, or even worse, whether this has been done with the tacit consent of the Cypriot government.

We expect answers immediately. As if the government and ruling force’s public statements and actions, which have already involved Cyprus, are not enough, Cameron’s statements make the dangers for Cyprus and its people worse.
