AKEL congratulatory letter to the Communist Party of Greece on the results of the elections in Greece

The General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Andros Kyprianou today sent a congratulatory letter to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Demetris Koutsoumbas for the increase polled in the results recorded by the KKE in yesterday’s elections held in Greece. The letter includes the following:

“On behalf of the Central Committee of AKEL I express my congratulations for the increase in the electoral strength of the Communist Party of Greece in the parliamentary elections on 25th January 2015. The ability of the Communist Party of Greece to maintain and increase its forces constitutes a guarantee for the strengthening of the struggles of the Greek people in conditions where their living standards and rights are suffering bitterly.”
