AKEL Antifascist event on the occasion of the International Day Against Fascism

The Central Committee of AKEL organized on Tuesday, 11th November, an antifascist event on the occasion of the 9th November – International Day against Fascism.
The event was held at Ledras street in Nicosia. A rally started from the beginning end was concluded at the end of Ledras street where speeches were delivered by Stefanos Stefanou. Member of the Political Bureau of AKEL, Abdullah Korkmazhan, General Secretary of the United Cyprus Party (BKP), Sylva Tiggiridou, President of the Pancyprian Peace Council and Themis Themistokleous, member of the Committee “Initiative against the fascist threat”. A cultural program followed with the singer Marios Constantinou.
