Government honours only commitments towards the Troika

In the case of the Bill on the unified agency for the settlement of disputes out of court, the government of the Rally DISY party and the Presidential Place have surpassed even themselves. Since they have assumed power, they are systematically sacrificing substantive politics for the benefit of communication games and propaganda. In this case, they are presenting a Bill that essentially concerns the self-evident obligation of banks to restructure loans and in the absence of their political will to protect the primary family residence, as supposedly the Bill that protect primary residence.

Their true intentions were exposed through the unacceptable and arbitrary prevention of the enactment of the Bill on the protection of the primary residence and small commercial enterprises in a harmonious common front with the leadership of the Democratic Party.

As AKEL, we insist on the promotion and approval of the Bill, as is clear from the whole of society that the only commitments this government honours are those towards the Troika and on this issue the commitment they have made is to accelerate the procedures for the appropriation of properties.
