The “economic miracle” and unemployment figures

Official figures released on the unemployed,which are projected to reach 19% in 2014, enhanced the terrible picture of 45,000 of our compatriots resorting to the food handout agencies, the deep cuts in wages and working peoples rights, tough austerity measures to the detriment of the vulnerable groups of the population, the dismantling of the welfare state, the on-going closure of Small and Middle Bussinesses and the continuing vicious circle of recession.

Incidentally, the Anastasiades government and the ruling DISY party believe that our country is experiencing another economic miracle. Let the people judge them!
