Mobilizations of students against rates in school buses
The PSEM (Pancyprian Students Union) has organized mass mobilizations allover Cyprus against the introduction of rates in school buses on the 7th of November. The students have demanded from the Ministers of Transportation and Education to abandon their efforts to introduce rates in the public school buses. The free access to public buses for students, a long-term demand of the PSEM and EDON, was a measure implemented by the previous government of Demetris Christofias.
