Costas Costa was born in 1971 in Zakaki and is married to Lia Leventi from Ayios Athanasios and they have a daughter. He is a graduate of the Lyceum of Ayios Antonios in Limassol.

From 1991 he worked in the Contractor Registration and Control Council with the duties of Technical Inspector in the province of Limassol, a position he resigned from, after his election to the parliament in 2011.

In 2016 he was re-elected to the position of Member of Parliament, while he is a member of the C.C. of AKEL, member of the District Committee and District Secretariat of AKEL Limassol.

He is also the Head of the Offices of Tourism, Energy Policy, Maritime Transports, Road Transports, Cooperatives and Middle Strata of the C.C. of AKEL. He has been the Clerk of Parliament since 2011 and is a member of the Parliamentary Committees on Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism, Defense, Transport, Communications and Works, while he was a member of the Committee on Institutions, Merit and the Commissioner for Administration (Ombudsman).

He is a member of the Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean and participates in the Committee on Political Affairs, Security and Human Rights.
