Nicosia District

1. Stefanos Stefanou: He is 60 years old, comes from the occupied village of Gerolakko and now lives in Geri. He is the General Secretary of AKEL and an AKEL MP in Nicosia.
2. Andreou Marina: She is 32 years old, comes from occupied Kontemeno, Kyrenia, and now lives in Strovolos. She is a social worker and visual artist. She is Head of the AKEL Bureau for People with Disabilities and Vice-President of the Cyprus Multiple Sclerosis Association.
3. Argyrides Marios: He is 57 years old, comes from Galata, and lives in Archangelos, Lakatamia. He is an accountant and business consultant. He is an AKEL Municipal Councilor for the Municipality of Lakatamia and Chairman of the OMONOIA Nicosia Sports Club.
4. Damianou Aristos: He is 53 years old, comes from the occupied area of Famagusta, and now lives in Nicosia. He is a lawyer and legal advisor. He is an AKEL MP in Nicosia. He is a member of the Central Secretariat of AKEL.
5. Evagorou Eleni: She is 37 years old, comes from Farmaka, and lives in Tseri. She is Program Director of SYKESO and a researcher at the Prometheus Research Institute. She is Central Organisational Secretary of POGO and a member of the Central Committee of AKEL.
6. Thomas Thomas: He is 42 years old, comes from Kalo Chorio and lives in Lakatamia. He is the District Secretary of the Nicosia-Kyrenia branch of the Union of Cypriot Farmers EKA and a member of the Central Committee of AKEL. He is the Head of the Municipal Group of AKEL-Left-Social Alliance in the Municipality of Lakatamia.
7. Koulas Seviros. He is 35 years old, comes from Aglantzia and lives in Geri. He is General Secretary of the EDON Youth Organisation and a member of the Central Committee of AKEL. He holds a degree in Political Science and History.
8. Konstantinos Konstantinou: He is 46 years old, comes from Akaki and lives in Aglantzia. He is a journalist. He is the Editor and presenter of the popular TV program “24 Hours Together.” He is involved in volunteer and social activities both inside and outside Cyprus.
9. Christina Constantinou: She is 42 years old, comes from Limassol, and lives in Nicosia. She is an actress, screenwriter, theatre workshop facilitator, and teacher of Orthophony and Greek to foreign language speakers. She is the Secretary of the SIDIKEK PEO Theatre Artists Trade Union Branch.
10. Loucaides George: He is 57 years old, comes from occupied Pyroi, Nicosia, and now lives in Aglantzia. He is the Parliamentary Representative of AKEL, AKEL MP in Nicosia, and President of the Political Group of the United European Left in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He is a member of the Secretariat of AKEL.
11. Matsas Orestis: He is 32 years old, comes from Paphos and lives in Nicosia. He is a Research Scientist in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Cyprus. He is a member of the Pancyprian Coordinating Committee of the Social Alliance.
12. Polycarpou Haris: He is 42 years old, comes from occupied Gerolakko and lives in Palouriotissa. He works as an economist at the Central Committee of AKEL. He is a member of the Central Secretariat of AKEL and Head of the Economics Department of the Central Committee of AKEL.
13. Marilena Trimithiotis: She is 46 years old, comes from Nicosia, and lives in Engomi. She is a hospital laboratory technician at a public hospital. She is a member of the Health Policy Department of the Central Committee of AKEL. She is President of the PASYDY Hospital Laboratories Trade Union Branch and a member of the PASYDY Public Employees Trade Union General Council.
14. Vakis Charalambous: He is 39 years old, comes from and lives in Dali. He is an AKEL Parliamentary Assistant. He is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL and Head of the Energy Policy Department of the Central Committee of AKEL. He holds degrees in Economics and Political Science.
15. Dr. Andri Hatzandreou: She is 44 years old, originally from and residing in Nicosia. She is an artist and pianist, Director of the Centre for Equality and Inclusion at the University of Limassol. She is a piano teacher and educator at the Nicosia Music School. She is the National Representative to the International Organization for Standardization for the Diversity Management System. She is a member of the Social Alliance.
16. Avgi Hatzipavlou (Liasis): She is 36 years old, comes from and lives in Engomi. She is a musician – piano, vocal and advanced theory teacher. She works in the Music Department of a Conservatory.
17. Christofides Christos: He is 51 years old, comes from the occupied city of Morphou, and now lives in Palouriotissa. He is an AKEL MP in Nicosia. He is a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of AKEL and Head of the Education Affairs Bureau of the Central Committee of AKEL.
18. Chrysanthou Konstantina: She is 25 years old, comes from Larnaca Lapithos and lives in Dali. She is a lawyer/legal professional. She is a member of the Executive Council of EDON Youth Organisation and Head of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Central Council of EDON.
19. Chrysovitsioti Ioanna: She is 23 years old. She is a postgraduate student at Oxford University. She is a member of the Central Council of EDON Youth and a member of the Secretariat of the Student Section of EDON. She has a degree in Byzantine and Modern Greek Literature.

 

 

 

Limassol District

1. Achilleas Achilleos: He is 44 years old, comes from Arsos and lives in Limassol. He works as a CEO in an IT company. He is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL. He holds a degree and a Master’s degree in Information Technology and E-Commerce.
2. Gavriel Gavriel (Lakis): He is 58 years old, comes from Koilani and lives in Limassol. He is a teacher. He is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL. He is Secretary of the Limassol School Board. He holds a bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Information Technology.
3. Georgios Antonis: He is 63 years old, comes from Amargeti, and lives in Limassol. He retired from the police force with the rank of Senior Officer. He holds a diploma in Business Administration.
4. Ioannou Argentoula: She is 62 years old, comes from occupied Famagusta, and now lives in Limassol. She works as a lawyer and insolvency advisor. She is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL and President of the Pancyprian Association of Single-Parent Families and Friends. She holds a law degree with Postgraduate degrees in Commercial Law and Gender Studies.
5. Michalis Kafkalias: He is 49 years old and comes from Limassol, where he lives. He works as a managing director in a private company. He was General Manager of the AEL football team and a member of the Board of the Cyprus Sports Organisation.
6. Christou Michailidou Fotini: She is 46 years old and comes from Limassol, where she lives. She works as a lawyer. She holds a degree in Law with a Postgraduate degree in European Law. She is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL.
7. Nikolaou Marina: She is 39 years old, comes from Pelendri and lives in Polemidia. She is an AKEL Limassol MP. She is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL and the General Council of POGO Women’s Movement. She holds a degree in Social and Political Sciences.
8. Stelios Melani: She is 49 years old, comes from Limassol where she lives. She works as an actor. During her artistic career, she has collaborated with various theatres and has been responsible for the production of documentaries, programs, festivals, and concerts. She is the Head of the Pancyprian Coordinating Committee of the Social Alliance.
9. Hatzistyllis Giorgos: He is 36 years old, was born in Limassol and lives in Armenochori. He works as a lawyer and legal advisor. He is a member of the Federation of Parents and Guardians of Primary Schools in Limassol City and District. He holds a degree in Law.
10. Christou Danae: She is 44 years old, was born in Limassol, where she lives. She works as an actress. For 16 years, she has distinguished herself with continuous appearances in Cypriot TV series, with leading and starring roles on all major channels. She was a creator and artistic director of musical theatre, and in recent years she has been presenting her own productions.
11. Christou Efraim: He is 23 years old and was born in Phini, where he lives. He holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics. He is a folk poet. He has published a collection of poems entitled “Roots, my heart.” He is a member of the Central Council of EDON. He was President of the Student Union of the University of Cyprus.
12. Psaras Apostolos: He is 47 years old, was born in Berlin and lives in Limassol. He works as a chemistry teacher. He is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL. He is a member of the Federation of Parents’ Associations of the Limassol District. He is President of the Association of Private Tutoring Centres. He is an AKEL Municipal Councillor in the Municipality of Limassol. He holds a degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance.

Famagusta District

1. Gavriel Giannakis: He is 64 years old and comes from Deryneia, where he lives. He is an AKEL MP for Famagusta. He is the District Secretary of the Famagusta free-areas branch of the Union of Cypriot Farmers.
2. Anastasia Gerolemou: She is 59 years old, comes from occupied Angastina, and now lives in Lakatamia. She works in the private sector as a Business Consultant. She is President of the Angastina Refugees Community Council.
3. Zymaras Antonis: He is 34 years old, comes from occupied Angastina and now lives in Aradippou. He is a manager in a family business.
4. Kettiros Nikos: He is 51 years old, comes from occupied Lysi and now lives in Larnaca. He is an AKEL MP for the Famagusta free areas and President of the Parliamentary Committee on Refugees.
5. Koukoumas Giorgos: He is 42 years old, comes from occupied Angastina and now lives in Larnaca. He is an AKEL MP for the Famagusta free areas and AKEL Central Committee Spokesperson.
6. Kounnis Andreas: He is 43 years old, comes from occupied Kalopsida and now lives in Xylofagou. He is General Secretary of PASEY-PEO Trade Union Federation and Secretary of the National Network Against Poverty.
7. Konstantinou Kalathas Kostas: He is 56 years old, comes from Famagusta, and lives in Meneou. He is a dentist and oral surgeon.
8. Nikolaou Floros: He is 63 years old, originally from occupied Famagusta, and now lives in Larnaca. He is the owner of a gas station.
9. Paraskeva Konstantina: She is 34 years old, comes from occupied Famagusta and lives in Nicosia. She works as an optician/optometrist.
10. Sofokleous Nikoletta: She is 45 years old, comes from occupied Famagusta and now lives in Limassol. She is a parliamentary assistant of AKEL. She is President of the AEZ Zakaki Cultural Association.
11. Hatzigeorgiou Stavros: He is 29 years old, comes from Acheritou and occupied Kalopsida and lives in Frenaros. He is a sheep and goat farmer and a full – time cadre of AKEL. He is Secretary of the General Council of the Olympias Local Club of the Peoples Movement of the Left of Frenaros.

 

Larnaca District

1. Xiourouppa Panikos: He is 57 years old, comes from Aradippou and lives in Larnaca. He worked at the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority CYTA. He is the Head of the Larnaca Social Alliance and President of the “Ray of Light” foundation.
2. Pasiourtides Andreas: He is 41 years old, comes from Pervolia, Larnaca, and lives in Larnaca. He is an AKEL MP in Larnaca. He is a lawyer and legal advisor.
3. Stylianou Marios: He is 46 years old, comes from Larnaca, where he lives. He is a teacher. He is President of the Progressive Movement of Primary and Nursery School Teachers.
4. Tzionis Eleni: She is 39 years old, comes from Athienou, where she lives. She is a lawyer. She is a member of the General Council of the Athienou Youth Association.
5. Charalambous Fotini: She is 28 years old and comes from Mazotos, where she lives. She is the Larnaka District Secretary of EDON Youth. She is a lawyer.
6. Christodoulou Polina: She is 45 years old, comes from Ormidia, and lives in Aradippou. She is a lawyer. She is Secretary of the Larnaca Federation of Secondary Education Parents’ Associations.

 

Paphos District

1. Theophanous Mariella: She is 36 years old, comes from and lives in Paphos. She is a lawyer. She is an AKEL – Left – Social Alliance Municipal Councilor for the Municipality of Paphos, General Secretary of the PROODEFTIKOS Sports and Cultural Association of Paphos and Assistant Secretary of the Paphos District Volunteer Coordination Council (ESSEP). She has worked at the Cyprus Delegation to the Council of Europe and is a mediator in alternative dispute resolution for civil and commercial disputes. She comes from the Social Alliance.
2. Nikolaou Andreas: He is 24 years old, comes from Chloraka, and lives in Pegeia. He studied law and is the personnel manager at a private company. He is a member of the Paphos District Council of EDON Youth Organisation.
3. Savvidis Nikos: He is 53 years old, comes from Episkopi, and lives in Kallepia. He is a full-time cadre of the PEO Trade Union Federation, District Secretary of the PEO Paphos Council, District Secretary of SYXKA-PEO trade union and member of the Executive Council of PEO. He is a member of the District Secretariat of EKA Paphos and a member of the Central Council of EKA and Chairman of the SODAP Committee. He is a member of the AKEL Paphos District Committee.
4. Skourou Giorgos: He is 29 years old, comes from Paphos and lives in Konia. He is a graduate of pharmacy. He is a full-time cadre of EDON, District Secretary of EDON Paphos and member of the Executive Council of EDON. He is a member of the AKEL Paphos District Committee and a member of the Central Secretariat of the Pancyprian Peace Council.
5. Fakontis Valentinos: He is 40 years old, comes from Geroskipou and Chloraka, and lives in Geroskipou. He is a civil engineer. He is a member of the Central Committee of AKEL and AKEL MP for Paphos.

 

Kyrenia District

1. Konstantinou Kostakis (Pagdatis): He is 65 years old, comes from the occupied village of Karavas and lives in Archangelos, Lakatamia. He is an AKEL Karavas Municipal Councillor, vice-president of the Karavas School Board and a member of the General Council of the Karavas Refugees Association. He has served as deputy Mayor of Karavas. He is a member of the AKEL Kyrenia District Coordinating Committee.
2. Louka Avraam: He is 37 years old, comes from the Maronite community and is originally from occupied Karpasia. He lives in Polemidia. He is Deputy Mayor of Kato Polemidia and previously served as AKEL Municipal Councillor of Polemidia. He is Secretary of the Maronite Youth Centre of Polemidia.
3. Dr. Anastasia Hasikou: She is 42 years old, comes from the occupied village of Kato Dikomo and lives in Lakatamia. She is an academic musicologist. She holds a PhD in Sociology of Music and a degree in Political Science. She is an AKEL Municipal Councillor of Lakatamia. She is a member of the Prometheus Scientific Advisory Research Institute (INEP). She is a specialist music scientist at the ARTE Academy and the European University of Cyprus, and conductor of the Dikomo Choir.
